静かな年明けでした。
どこに行っても人が多いお正月は、家で過ごすのが一番の贅沢です。
暮れまで忙しかったこともあり、今年は、近所にお参りに行くだけのお正月でした。
毎年、初詣の帰りには、すぐ近くの西荻窪の骨董通りを散策します。
ずっと以前から「万華鏡」を探していました。今回、おもちゃの骨董屋さんで、
ちょっと変わった万華鏡を見つけました。アンティークでとても気に入りました。
西荻窪の骨董通りには、家具の骨董屋さんも多くあります。
数年前には、夫とひと目惚れをした、１９３０年頃にイギリスで作られた
「カップボード」を買いました。ティーカップやポット、リネン類など、
西洋式のお茶道具を入れるものだそうです。家では今でも、
時計やアクセサリー、ハンカチ類などを入れて大切に使っています。
私事としましては、昨年秋に、
浄土真宗本願寺派中央仏教学院「通信教育部・学習課程」を卒業しました。
卒業してからも築地本願寺とはご縁をいただいています。
そしてすぐの１０月から、ある葬祭関係の専門学校で勉強をしています。
長年の小さな思いがふくらんで、勇気を持って１歩踏み出しました。
するとそこには、同じ思いを抱えた人々がいて、新しい人との出会いや事柄に発展しています。
私の葬祭人生、これからが益々興味深くなって行きそうです。
機会があったら、後日お伝えしたいと思います。
今年が、皆さんにとって素晴らしい１年となりますよう心から念じています。
